What Is Montessori Learning?
Wee Wisdom is guided by the philosophy of Dr Maria Montessori, the first female doctor in Italy. Dr Montessori believed in allowing children to learn and develop at their own pace in a supportive and stimulating environment. We provide a structural classroom tailored to each individual child’s needs and interests.

The Montessori Method is a call for self-reliance and autonomy, encouraging taking initiative and tackling problems on one’s own to gain confidence and independence.
Working individually and in groups, Montessori helps children discover the world and develop their potential. As part of Dr Montessori’s philosophy, she created materials that teach the basics of academic learning. Our Montessori curriculum teaches each child:
- Practical life skills
- Sensory skills - learning to use all five senses
- Language
- Mathematics
- Culture - geography, history, various sciences, arts, and music
